Mark Warner and looking ahead to 08′

I was very disappointed to hear about Mark Warner. It was really nice to have someone going into 07′, not have to do any more research about the candidates, and to actually have a national Democrat to be hopeful about, who really could win. Oh, well I guess I’ll dry my tears and go back to the drawing board. But who now? Bayh? Vilsack? Edwards? According to Houston’s own James Dallal:
Bayh’s as hard to pronounce as Tsongas. Also, he’s got a tired fortunate-son bio. Vilsack probably can’t win the primary because no one seems excited about him. Edwards could take the nomination but he’ll lose in November because he’s still 12 (years-old).
Kerry is…well, you know…a kite surfer. Don’t get me started on “Tough on Drugs” Biden and his war on Ketamine, or Richardson and his minor league baseball days, and I don’t want to put her name in print for fear that it may give her some momentum. Ahhh…
Also, I would like to take this moment to say that Deval’s statement in response to the Herald story about his family is absolutely amazing. Kerry Healey you are a joke, you have embarrassed your party and your social class, I can’t wait until January when you are back playing polo and sipping Pimm’s Cups.
